Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Summary
CreditBedrock is designed to be anonymous-by-default. We don't require accounts, we don't store IP addresses, and we don't sell user data. The recommender runs entirely in your browser.
What we collect
- Aggregate analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) that records page views and outbound clicks. It does not set tracking cookies, does not store IP addresses, and reports only country-level location derived at request time.
- Recommender inputs. The answers you give the recommender (identity type, deposit budget, employment status, preferred category) stay in your browser. They are not transmitted to a server we operate.
What we don't collect
- We don't collect or store IP addresses.
- We don't set tracking cookies.
- We don't ask for your name, email, phone, SSN, or financial details.
- We don't sell or share user data with third parties.
Outbound links
When you click a link to an issuer (Self, Kikoff, OpenSky, etc.), you leave CreditBedrock. The issuer's site has its own privacy policy that governs what happens after you click. Some links include a tracking parameter that lets the issuer credit CreditBedrock with the referral if you're approved. That parameter contains a non-identifying campaign code; it does not contain anything about you.
Your rights (CCPA / GDPR)
Because we don't collect personal information, most data-subject rights don't produce a meaningful response — we have nothing on file to show, correct, or delete. If you believe we have data about you, contact privacy@creditbedrock.com.
Changes
If we ever change this policy in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the "Last updated" date and post a notice on the home page for a reasonable period.
